Robert P. Bresnahan Jr. (born April 22, 1990) is an American politician serving as the U.S. Representative for Pennsylvania’s 8th congressional district since 2025. Born in Kingston, Pennsylvania, he earned a B.S. from the University of Scranton. A Republican, Bresnahan was a business executive, real estate developer, and served on the Pennsylvania Republican state committee (2018–2022) before his election to the U.S. House in 2024. He began his term in the 119th Congress.
