Vicente Gonzalez Jr. (born September 4, 1967) is an American politician serving as the U.S. Representative for Texas’s 34th congressional district since 2017. Born in Corpus Christi, Texas, he earned a B.A. from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and a J.D. from Texas Wesleyan School of Law. A Democrat, Gonzalez was a lawyer in private practice before his election to the U.S. House in 2016. He has been reelected to all succeeding Congresses.
