Mike Johnson

Mike Johnson (born January 30, 1972) is an American politician serving as the U.S. Representative for Louisiana’s 4th congressional district since 2017. Born in Shreveport, Louisiana, he earned a B.S. and J.D. from Louisiana State University. A Republican, Johnson was a lawyer and Louisiana state representative (2015–2017) before his election to the U.S. House in 2016, and has served as Speaker of the House since the 118th Congress. He has been reelected to all succeeding Congresses.
