Sara Jacobs

Sara Jacobs (born February 1, 1989) is an American politician serving as the U.S. Representative for California’s 51st congressional district since 2021. Born in San Diego, California, she earned a B.A. and M.I.A. from Columbia University. A Democrat, Jacobs worked at the United Nations (2012–2014), the U.S. Department of State (2014–2015), was a presidential campaign aide, and a nonprofit executive before her election to the U.S. House in 2020, after an unsuccessful run in 2018. She has been reelected to all succeeding Congresses.
