Summer Lee (born November 26, 1987) is an American politician serving as the U.S. Representative for Pennsylvania’s 12th congressional district since 2023. Born in North Braddock, Pennsylvania, she earned a B.A. from Pennsylvania State University and a J.D. from Howard University. A Democrat, Lee was a field manager, community organizer, and Pennsylvania state representative (2018–2022) before her election to the U.S. House in 2022. She has been reelected to the succeeding Congress.
