Thomas Jonathan (Jon) Ossoff (born February 16, 1987) is an American politician serving as a U.S. Senator from Georgia since 2021. Born in Atlanta, Georgia, he earned a B.S. from Georgetown University and an M.S. from the London School of Economics. A Democrat, Ossoff was an investigative journalist, producer, and CEO of Insight TWI Ltd., and served as a congressional staff member before his election to the Senate in a 2021 runoff election. His term ends in 2027.
