David G. Valadao (born April 14, 1977) is an American politician serving as the U.S. Representative for California’s 22nd congressional district since 2021, with prior service from 2013 to 2019. Born in Hanford, California, he attended the College of the Sequoias (1996–1998). A Republican, Valadao was a farmer, business owner, and California state assembly member (2010–2012) before his election to the U.S. House in 2012, with an unsuccessful reelection bid in 2018. He has been reelected to all succeeding Congresses since 2020.
