Nikema Williams (born July 30, 1978) is an American politician serving as the U.S. Representative for Georgia’s 5th congressional district since 2021. Born in Columbus, Georgia, she earned a B.A. from Talladega College. A Democrat, Williams was a nonprofit executive, Georgia Democratic Party chair (2019–2025), and Georgia state senator (2017–2021) before her election to the U.S. House in 2020. She has been reelected to all succeeding Congresses.
